Away from the noise, at more than 1,600 m above sea level, surrounded by green meadows and woods, stands a 100-year-old farmhouse built on ancient stones. Here, in the middle of untouched nature, where time seems to stand still, you will find the Tannhäuser.
The farmhouse, renovated in 2016, creates with its traditional charm a pleasant atmosphere, which invites you to relax and enjoying the wild nature. The large front window in the kitchen gives you a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountain scenery, consisting of the Zillertal Alps and the Rieserferner Group.
The main philosophy of “back to the roots” can be found in every corner of Tannhäuser: cooking on the wood-burning cooker in the traditional farmhouse kitchen or enjoying evenings in the Stube with the South Tyrolean warm stove. A television was intentionally not included; instead, a unique wooden box is filled with board games.
For some people, the Tannhäuser is a place of rest and quiet, for others it is a location of learning and practical experience. Apart from the rental period, the Tannhäuser is used as a training centre by the Zirkonzahn company.

This charming 100-year-old farmhouse with spectacular mountain views is located at 1.600 m in Predoi, the nature park of the valley (“Parco naturale Vedrette di Ries-Aurina”, South Tyrol, Italy).
The floor-to-ceiling windows let you enjoy the surrounding nature from the comfort of the homely and warm farmhouse.

When you wake up surrounded by pure white snow and a bright-blue sky, it is certainly going to be a great day! The air at the Tannhäuser is really pure and refreshing. So, breathe deeply and get ready to open the door to your daily adventure. 3, 2, 1, let’s go: you can explore the woods with your snowshoes, craft an entire family of snowmen in the garden, amuse yourself in an exciting ski run. And when the sun goes down, this is the best way to round off the day: a mug of warm Apfelsaft, a pan of roasted chestnuts and a song around a crackling fire!
Sunny days are great, but let’s admit it: the world is very peaceful and quiet when the snow falls gently in the morning and a dim light fills the bedroom. Isn’t this the perfect day to relax at the chalet, with a good book and a cup of hot tea, curled in a soft quilt? The Tannhäuser can certainly liven up rainy days: you can play the board games available in the kitchen, spend time spotting wild animals from the wall-wide window, talk culture in the sitting room inspired by the room’s “Literary Café” atmosphere or enjoy some chats in the warmth of the stove in the traditional Stube.
As night falls, the valley is fully coloured by the moonlight. The warm lights of the near village are there to keep you company, until the moment when, one by one, they go out giving way to another silent night at the Tannhäuser.
